William Ellyett, Director at Myers Ellyett, established the Brisbane based practice with the ambition of creating a personal architecture informed by a strong collaborative process. His desire is to test the experiential dimensions of specific places and how they provide a point of unique experience. This is a reoccurring theme in his work, one of identity, both local and global, cultural and economical. He has lead several project teams to develop and deliver multiple award winning projects, including the Byron Bay Resort - Elements, the Baroona Road mixed use development, and the Brookfield Spotted Gum House.
William has a wealth of experience across many typologies, including urban design, cultural, commercial, resort and tourism, multi-residential and single residential.
